We develop and support the programs for providing psychological help for people living in the government-controlled areas of Luhansk Oblast.
Development of civil society constitutes another important field of our activity. By this we aspire to maintain democratic values and human rights. For this we organize educational, cultural and art events, perform adviser support for the initiatives of local communities.

We provide free legal support for internal relocatees and persons affected by armed conflict in the East of Ukraine and Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
We are systematically monitoring the situation along the line of demarcation: it is both an escalation at the front and documenting the testimony of civilians who witnessed the shelling, and respect for human rights when crossing the line of demarcation, the Russian border or checkpoints and living in closed settlements.
We collect data on heavy human rights violations, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the armed conflict in the East of Ukraine to restore justice, abolish impunity and implement right to the truth.
Advocacy promotes social, civil and political rights of internal relocatees and citizens affected by the conflict.
Vostok SOS Severodonetsk
Our hub in Sievierodonetsk is designed with several components: educational: trainings, lectures and language clubs; psychological: individual consultations and group meetings; and humanitarian: individual help and consultations.
Vostok SOS Mariupol
Our office in Mariupol provides free legal support for victims of the conflict in the East of Ukraine, consultations on crossing checkpoints in Luhansk and Donetsk oblast via phones of the “hotlines”. Lawyers of the Mariupol office visit checkpoints to control the respect for human rights during the crossing of the line of separation.
